Making a Refund with a Receipt

Receipts can be refunded either fully or partially. Either scan the barcode in the receipt, or use Search Receipt to find the receipt first. When the receipt has been found, open the receipt in Refund mode by pressing Refund Receipt, or open the receipt, select the individual rows you want to refund, and press Refund Selected.

Refund reasons

When refunding is being made, the text You work in refund mode is displayed in the POS. When in Refund Mode it is not possible to add any products to the basket.

You can modify the product rows to be refunded in the Basket when Refund Mode is active.

You can remove products from being refunded by swiping to the left on the row of the product, and selecting either

  • Remove One Product from the Row (the yellow minus sign icon) or

  • Remove All Products from the Row (the red trashcan icon).

Proceed to payment when the Basket contents are correct.

The number of a receipt which has been refunded will be visible in the receipt which is printed out when the refund is made.

Refunding a Custom Product

Custom products are refunded in the same manner as other products; however, when refunding a custom product it needs to be checked whether modifications have been made to the product at the time of purchase. The refunded amount will be same as the purchase price; either scan the barcode in the receipt, or use Search Receipt to find the receipt. It is also possible to use Refund Mode to make refund without a receipt.

Refunding a Variant Product

Variant products are refunded in the same manner as other products. Either scan the barcode in the receipt, or use Search Receipt to find the receipt. It is also possible to use Refund Mode to make refund without a receipt.
