Merge Products
If the Merge Products setting is ON, similar products in the Store will be merged, and the sequence of products placed in the Basket may change when the order is sent to kitchen.
Make sure that this setting is OFF when using Fast Food or Fine Dining kitchen flow. This way the free text descriptions in the basket are displayed in the same sequence as they were added to the basket.
Also keep the setting in OFF position if you have the business need to add manual discounts to a single instance of the same product on basket, or refund and sell the same product using the same receipt.
When this feature is OFF, you can still manually multiply the quantity of a product on its row, without needing to add same products as new rows to the basket
