Starting and Ending a Shift on POS
The shift starts automatically on the first login to POS. After the shift has been started, the POS opens normally.
If the POS user has more than one cost unit, the cost unit must be selected when logging in.
To end the shift, press End Shift in the POS Menu. An End Shift action tile can be also be added to POS Layout by using the POS Layout Designer.

Users can mark start/end of shift to other time than the current time (in case the user forgot to start the shift, for example). However, the current timestamp is also saved when this is done, to prevent any misuse of the system.
