Kitchen App
Solteq Commerce Cloud Kitchen application works only on Android-based devices.
Solteq Commerce Cloud Kitchen application helps kitchen staff manage orders in the Kitchen easily.
Kitchen app is available for downloading in the Google Play Store, under the name Solteq Kitchen; you can also find a direct link to the app page in the Back Office’s POS Installer view.
After you have installed the app, open it in your device and display the settings by pressing the gear icon on the top right corner.

In the Settings menu, connect the application to your Store’s master workstation, using the settings in the image below.

Settings in the Kitchen App are the following.

Kitchen Service Host | The IP address of the Store’s master workstation. This can be checked on the POS by clicking on the green lightbulb icon: The IP address will be visible under Address next to Kitchen Service. Required format is

Number of columns | The amount of orders that will be shown on one row on the tablet. The default value is 5. | Mandatory |
List preorders xx min before | The amount of minutes an preorder must be in the future before it is shown in the application. The default value is 30. | Mandatory |
Wrap lines / Cut lines | Select whether product names will be wrapped or cut in the application. The default value is Wrap lines | Mandatory |
Logging enabled | Select whether kitchen application logs are sent to the cloud. The default is value is Disabled. | Optional |
Kitchen area active | Select whether Kitchen Areas are active on the tablet. Kitchen areas need to be configured on the Store level for this setting to be available. | Optional |
Alert sound for new awaiting orders | Define whether the app plays a sound when there is a new order from external sources waiting for approval. | Optional |
Alert sound for new orders | Define whether the app plays a sound when a new order is sent to the application from Store POSes. | Optional |

Print cooking instructions | Define whether cooking instructions (if filled) will be printed from the product information. | Optional |
