Changing the Product Name in POS

Sometimes there may be a need to sell a product in the POS even if the product has not yet been added to the Solteq Commerce Cloud system. In these cases it is now possible to add an existing product with a suitable price to the Basket, and change its name for the purposes of the current order only:

  1. Add an existing product with a suitable price to the the Basket in POS.

  2. Press the product in the Basket to view its details.

  3. Press the Edit product name (pen) icon next the product name.

  4. Enter the new name for the product and press OK.

  5. The name of the product is now updated in the Basket. You can now add other products to the Basket and/or proceed to payment.

The new name of the product will be visible in

  • customer’s receipt (original and any copies made afterwards), and in the PDF version of the receipt

  • order details in Back Office.

The original name of the product will be visible in reporting (Statistics, Orders export, Custom reports, Sales reports, and such)

Extended Z-Report

You can now include the following extra information in Z-reports as an option:

  • Receipt numbers of paid receipts

  • Amount (pcs) and sum (currency) of refunding receipts

To enable this, click the Enable extended Z-report switch to ON position in Settlement Settings.

Support for New Android Verifone Payment Terminals

You can now use all Verifone payment terminals — including new Android PDSK terminals — globally with Solteq Commerce Cloud. See Setting Up Verifone Payment Terminal for information on how to set up the terminal.

ReceiptHero Integration

ReceiptHero is a digital receipt archiving system which can now be integrated with Solteq Commerce Cloud using Solteq Connector.

When the ReceiptHero e-receipt feature has been taken into use, a Solteq Commerce Cloud Webhook must be configured to send paid receipts to ReceiptHero (this feature must be activated by Solteq Customer Service).

Customers who have taken the ReceiptHero app into use will be able to receive their receipts digitally in the app when making payments to a company using the ReceiptHero integration.

Other Improvements and Fixes

  • You can now add a Seats action tile to the POS Layout to enable seat handling; formerly only the Seats tile in the default footer in POS layout could be used for this.

  • The user interface in Kiosk will no longer display the "Are you still here?" notification after a successful purchase, when the Self checkout setting has been enabled in Kiosk Service settings.

  • Corrected the problem which appeared in Z- and X-reports: when the Level used in Settlement Settings was set to Clerk, the sales in reports were set to zero.
