Gift Cards

Solteq Commerce Cloud enables creating and managing gift cards which can be used as a payment method in the POS.

Gift cards can be created, pre-created, or imported to the Back Office using Excel. Pre-created gift cards are physical gift cards whose actual values must be entered when they are sold in the POS.

There are two types of gift cards:

• Value gift cards contain a certain amount of money which can be used for paying goods. They have a validity period

• Product gift cards can be used for purchasing a certain product, with a limit on how many purchases can be made with one card.

To view the current list of gift cards, click Gift Cards in the Back Office menu.

You can use the Search… field to search for gift cards, or filter the list by using the Filters drop-down menu to select the filters you want to use (several filters can be applied at the same time):

• Giftcard ID (enter ID)

• Customer reference (enter Customer reference)

• Date created (select date range)

• Expiration date (select date range)

• Nominal value (enter minimum and/or maximum values)

• Remaining value (enter minimum and/or maximum values)

• Left usages (enter minimum and/or maximum values)

• Gift card template (select template)

• Last used (select date range)

• Last used workstation (select workstation)

• Status: Active, Expired, Revoked or Used.

When you have selected the filters, click Apply Filters to update the view.
