Configuring POS/FCM Info Lights
You can configure POS info lights into use in Workstation Configurations. They can be used with
the regular POS functionality to inform your customers about the state of the POS (closed or available), or
with the Fast Contract Meal app to indicate whether the Fast Contract Meal payment was successful.

One info light per workstation can be used at a time. Solteq Commerce Cloud currently supports using Kuando Busylight Omega devices.
POS info lights have four possible states, described below.
State | Description |
|---|---|
CLOSED | No purchases can be made on this workstation. |
AVAILABLE | Purchases can be made on this workstation. |
SUCCESSFUL | Successful payment. |
ERROR | Unsuccessful payment. |
You can define the following settings separately for each state:
Light color: Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, or White.
How many times the light will flash: 0-60.
0 indicates a static light. For example: A green static light might indicate that the POS is available.
The blinking length of each flash in seconds.
Volume of the sound: 0-4.
Configure POS Info Light
Connect the device to the workstation with a USB cable.
In the Back Office menu, click Configurations and select the workstation you want to use with the POS info light.
In the Workstation Configurations, go to Interaction Service and click New.
Enter the following details:
Name: Enter a name for the new device.
Device Type: Select POSInfoLight from the drop-down menu.
Device Name: select KuandoBusyLight.
ServiceName: Select PosService or FastContractMeal Service.
Support for KioskService will be available in the future.

Interaction Service Settings
Click Add.
Select the settings for the info lights and sounds.

Click the Enabled switch to ON position.
Click Save to save your changes.
